Hypnosis Expert Darren Marks Brings Harmony Hypnosis App for Meditation to Target Stress Problems
Darren Marks’ Harmony Hypnosis Meditation app provides a solution for people who want to be calm and confident with meditation, hypnotherapy, and self-hypnosis.

Stress and anxiety are unfortunately not uncommon. People experience them daily, most commonly because they juggle several things at once, including their careers, families, friends, and of course, caring for themselves. Everyday life also comes with several triggers that can cause people to get stressed and anxious. Also, the pandemic has taken people’s stress and anxiety through the roof due to all the dangers and uncertainty it has presented.

Stress and anxiety can lead to unrestful sleep or lack of sleep. Sleep deprivation could then lead to a host of problems including concentration and memory problems, mood swings, weakened immune system, high blood pressure, increased risk of heart disease, weight gain, and several other health problems.

There are several ways to address stress and anxiety. One of them is hypnotherapy.

According to WebMD, hypnotherapy “uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness,” which helps “the unconscious mind to accept beneficial suggestions.”

To help more people alleviate their stress and anxiety, renowned hypnotherapist and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner, Darren Marks developed the Harmony Hypnosis app. Darren came up with the idea of creating an app after he made recordings for his clients.

The Harmony Hypnosis Meditation app contains hypnotic meditation sessions, which can be tested free of charge, and aim to target tension, stress, and anxiety. The hypnotic meditations use imagery to instruct patients to think about things or imagine themselves in positive and uplifting ways. As they follow this process, listeners will go into a state of trance where their minds are more open to helpful suggestions. In this state, suggesting to the patient that they are calm and comfortable is easier because their critical faculties are relaxed. “The reason that kind of imagery is effective is that the subconscious mind does not differentiate between real and imagined experiences,” Darren says.

The session recordings also employ unique special effects that make them effective. Dual Vocal Delivery, which carries different suggestions or metaphors separately but simultaneously via the left and right earphones, produces a hypnotic effect that allows the unconscious mind to become open to “beneficial suggestions with less conscious interference.” The app also utilizes small sound pulses in its recordings that can help patients get to a hypnotic state more quickly. This effect is called Brainwave Entrainment. When the brain is exposed to rhythm, the brain recreates it in the form of electrical impulses.

Listening to a session every day for a week can bring a noticeable difference in how good a person feels.

Since its initial release the Harmony Hypnosis Mediation app has been downloaded more than two million times and has won at The Best App Ever Awards and Best Mobile App Awards. The app has also been recommended by American doctors via Healthtap. Harmony Hypnosis Mediation continues to grow and evolve and the latest version, released this week, includes a new Growth and Development feature designed to help users track and keep focused on their self-development progress.
